3. App Blocking Limitations & Technical Scope

While Block Cheddam utilizes standard Android system APIs (such as UsageStatsManager and system overlay windows) to detect foreground applications and enforce custom usage limits, you acknowledge that mobile software blocking mechanisms have technical limitations:

• Device Manufacturer Battery Optimization: Certain custom Android operating system forks (including customized ROMs from Vivo/FuntouchOS, OPPO/ColorOS, Xiaomi/MIUI/HyperOS, and OnePlus/OxygenOS) enforce aggressive background task termination algorithms. If a user does not configure device battery settings to allow background execution, system foreground services may be suspended by the OS.
• User Override Capabilities: Block Cheddam is a voluntary self-regulation tool. Users retain ultimate administrative control over their mobile devices and can disable system permissions, uninstall the application, or restart their phone to bypass blocking rules.
• Emergency Access Notice: Block Cheddam should NEVER be configured on primary emergency communication tools or critical medical alert devices where unexpected app blocking could delay emergency calls, medical alerts, or critical safety notifications.

4. Gamification & Virtual Item Disclaimer

Block Cheddam incorporates gamified virtual rewards, including Experience Points (XP), pet companion levels, evolution stages, health meters (HP, Energy, Joy), and achievement badges:

• All virtual pets, badges, levels, and XP points are purely digital representations used for motivational feedback within the application environment.
• Virtual items hold zero cash value, monetary worth, or equity value, and cannot be redeemed for legal tender, cash equivalents, or real-world goods.
• Virtual stats and companion progress do not constitute financial investments, contractual assets, or property rights.
